The birth of Lily

I met with this couple (friends from church) only a week or two before the baby was born. She was on the fence about natural birth and we spent a fun 2 hours talking about it, the benefits, breathing techniques, etc. They asked me to be their doula and I happily agreed! She went into labor shortly after, 2 weeks before her estimated due date. She worked hard but her labor was smooth and short once it got going. Miss Lily made quite the entrance and I was so honored and blessed to be a part of their story.

I did her newborn session also and Ill blog those soon. She's such a pretty little thing!
