Welcome! I got my first DSLR in 2007 and my love for photography grew from there as I practiced taking pictures of our three (now 5) children. I also photographed births I attended as a doula, then their newborns and eventually other people's children and families. I have spent countless hours studying, learning and shooting. Becoming a photographer was an unexpected blessing that I am very thankful for. I am passionate about capturing moments in time for you to treasure forever. My goal is always to make sure you have a fun, enjoyable session so that you not only smile when you see your images, but when you remember creating them as well. Please contact me with any questions or to schedule your session. I look forward to talking with you soon!

Project Ten Challenge

This is my first week participating in the Project Ten Challenge, a photographers group challenge with a new theme each week. This week the theme is "hair".

This is my second little girl, our fifth child and our first to have curly hair. I am in love with her curls! However, she is the most difficult 1 year old I've ever photographed. If I hold her arm to try and keep her still she literally dances in place - she's busy! So this was truly a challenge. Im just glad I got some in focus as I chased her all around.

She was up before the sun so we took advantage of the morning light outside our house. And yes she still has her banana in her hand :)

and #10 like the blur she was most of the time

The P family ~ Fort Worth Family and Child photographer

I got to first spend some time with this beautiful lady when she took my Photography Class and she has since become a precious friend. We had a great session last fall down at 7th street in Fort Worth. I love that area! (playing catch up with my blog - had to share these!)

This is a session from last fall at the beautiful Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. The older boy is my oldest son's best friend and such an answer to prayer. His sweet mama brings my son home from school and its a tremendous blessing to me. Love this family!

Jumping back in - literally!

Just found this blog post I never published. This was my first session back in 2012 after having my daughter ......

This beautiful couple "M and M" had me meet them at a location I'd never been too. We ended up climbing over huge rocks, walking along ledges and climbing down to the waterfall area. We even had a GOAT pop out of the brush for a visit! It was quite an exciting day. I loved every minute of it.

The girls got super glam for their photoshoot

I LOVE this serious look I got from them. I told them not to smile but to think of something happy. They nailed it. Its exactly what I was going for.

A favorite family shot

Here's our friend that came to visit. Actually he could have cared less we were there. He just ate and ate and ate and ate.....

At the very end the girls got to go out in the water. These ended up being some of my favorites. Here is one of them:

Thank you M and M!
